Ok so these are pretty poor as I had to hold him and take the pic on my own so pretty blurred. But you can at least make out where he has plucked himself bald under each wing. It actually looks sorer than it is but Im treating him with aloe vera right now. Like Ive said before any other remedys are greatly appreciated.

There is actually more long his back but it was impossible to get a pic of that. They last couple of days I havent seen him pluck too much but he is beginning a moult so they are falling out by themselves hehe!

I dunno Jules he would probably chew through it.
He is starting a moult now so I wonder how he gets on during it, this is his first moult with me.

That is very sore looking but the aloe should help. As I have had a tiel with giardia before this is exactly what they do, pluck under their wings like that and around the back. It took 2 go's with anti -biotics to help clear it up, even though the tests came back negative to start with, I just kept hassling my avian vet. There have been some positive results using grapefruit seed extract in the water as well. I know you have had him tested, but I still think it might be gardia. Cheers Anna

She isnt doing much better still plucks at any given opportunity. I think its something thats here to stay and we have to deal with it. The only time she isnt really picking is when she is out with Charlie on her java tree stand but I cant leave her there all day whilst Im at work. She has a java swing in her cage but isnt interested in that.
I guess we just take each day as it comes.
