My son said today that he saw blood underneath Cheekyboy's wing, had a look and it is fresh blood, though it had dried. I'm wondering if it has something to do with his poorly clipped wings (more like mutilated!). I tried to ring the avian vet, but they were closed, so I will ring them in the morning, and get him checked out on Wednesday if I can.
Poor little guy, he hates hands, he's really going to hate them after a visit to the vet

The earliest I can get in to the avian vet is Saturday! It's not an urgent problem, so I will keep an eye on it and try to get an emergency problem if it starts bleeding again

It all went well, apparantly because he has no long wing feathers, the new ones at the edge keep getting knocked. The best news of all - the vet says in a month all the flight feathers will have grown back in, and Cheekyboy will be able to fly just like a bird should #cheesy#
