At Birdworld , although i was not very impressed with alot of the parrot cages, they had nothing to do. We came across a cockatoo, in a large cage on his own. Loved affection, but all he had was a bit of string, and one log to chew. He looked quite bald, and i would have thought he was so bored.Even my other half wanted to take him home.

Lovely pics! How can a bird place treat parrots like that? Do they have no compassion!

There was a huge cagewith a mix of parrots.I think its where they do a daily show or something. The parrots ranged from Macaws to greys, and larger conures etc. Every single bird was either asleep, or just sitting there. Hardly a chirp,or screech,it was just a huge cage of bored birds. When we saw single parrots in cages they came up for affection. The only cage we saw that day that had any life in it, was the budgies, who were chattering to each other. The other birds, non parrots, had lovely cages (see my other pictures) they had lots of trees, and space,which suited them. this was the Too we saw,

aww its such a shame for such magnificent birds, is that Mr Scully there contemplating, cutting the coci free and putting him in his pocket to take home lol

yep, thats Mr S we visited this fella three times, as we felt so sorry for him. Mr S, was so taken with it
