First timers.. and doing well. Dad Normal sky blue/albino. Mum YFT2 opaline spangle violet. 6 eggs

I had a holiday for a week and this is what I found when I came home.. 4 little ones and number 5 hatched today.. Shell I expect inos which will be girls and I have 2 so far. Dad is split to ino. Some spangles violets and cobalts. Dont know about recessive pieds but we will see..

Aw! Good luck with them, they look great! I really like the hen, the spangle is one of my favorite variations, but I can't find any for sale where I live.

Thats a shame Budgiebuddy.. Where do you live?.. Sal she is a busy mum and a good one for a first timer.. All bubs doing well. I have some more pics but they are loading right now.

I don't know if this qualifies as off topic, or what, but I'm answering a question! *ducks whip* I live in Southern California. I know a couple of breeders, and I've been to bird stores, hole-in-the-wall pet shops, and the big chain stores, but I must have really lousy luck or something, because someone out there must have some. Spangles aren't that uncommon...

Thanks for posting such gorgeous picture what beautiful babies, my fave has to be the violet spange but they are all lovely.
