mine always threw bedding out, but i persisted in putting more in til they got fed up of throwing it out, its easier to keep clean for babies feet.
well done on the eggs, cant wait to see pink blobs

Putting any more in now will be pointless. Wait until any bubs hatch, she will be less likely to throw bedding out with bubs in the nest.

We have a chick! s/he hatched yesterday, havent got a pic yet as dont want to disturb them too much. They sure are devoted parents, they hardly leave the nest at the moment. Both of them were in there yesterday and only came out for a quick bite to eat. I have to clean their cage today so will try to get a pic this morning.

Hi Sorry its been so long to get a picture but the parents have been covering the chick so i cant see him/her. Anyway here s/he is at 9 days old................ Like last year, only one egg has hatched wonder why only one egg gets fertilized?
