G'day Buster and a Big Welcome to you! Your birds are beautiful! I love the red head Gouldians, their red is far more visually stunning than the black heads - which are still gorgeous. Love the yellow back too.

Thank you All for the warm welcome!! The red hen is lovely isn't she? She's a real good momma! Just wonder what colour of chicks I'll get from the crossing?
The first pair of goulds, the green backs with red heads finally got it together this morning, if you know what I mean? nudge, nudge, wink, wink, know what I mean? It o took them a while but this morning he was treading the hen like he was born doing it! lol, lol, He's been watching the canary, and picked up a few pointers.
Again thank you!!
Jerry

Yes, only two weeks old, they were hatched on the 15th and 16th. This is a super pair I have. Definately keepers. Very calm and not flighty. The hen looks broody again, she has material in her beak in the last picture. I will let them have one more round and that's it. I don't want to wear them out. Jerry

The parents are going for a second round. The hen laid another egg today. Dad has taken over the feeding duties and treading the hen! wink, wink, nudge, nudge! Boy is he tired at the end of the day. lol
Jerry
P.S The parents were cage bred birds, so now the babies are too, and are also very tame. That's two differant chicks, one has a blue band and one has a white band.
