Been going in the local pet shop every time we walk past, and these pair have been there for ages. and in a too small cage !! There both starting to look tatty and the female has started to pull her feathers out, i think its down to boredom... they had no toys and didn't have room to fly around..

hehe yes sal knows cos they are Sal's They are called Sugar (female) and Spice (male), they seem to have settled quite well into their bigger cage. Cant wait till its the kids bed time so we can let them out for a fly

I had to get them out the cage at the pet shop, that was hard enough!!

yes they are - neither of them are in great condition and have been on a diet of only seed so they now have some fresh stuff in their cage and we are hoping that their feathers and their wing strength will return with time

on that last pic you can really see the extent of her plucking, she is a small bird too and a little under weight. Hopefully we will have some more positive results in the next few days
