A lot of people say children should not be allowed to handle birds as they are likely to hurt them. This picture shows that this is not always the case: Jamie has a way with our birds, ones that dont like me (or jon sometimes) he can pick up and they will let him stroke them. When this photo was taken Kiki was feeding her first clutch and by all rights she should have been stroppy with him but instead she just sat there enjoying the fuss he was giving her.

Its a lovely photo I really believe in animal sense Sal. My thoughts are they sense young people, as much as young animals. Also Jamie looks as if he shows no fear, enjoys them, and they sense that too. (My blind girl will not pull young children, yet she will always pull an adult)
and my favorite will have to be the one with Jamie smiling and the baby parrot. They both look as if they are having a chuckle together. In fact you should enter it into the photo competition i went in for, you may win yoursellf $250

What a beautiful, gentle little boy Jamie is, Sal. It's wonderful to see a child so intune with a bird at such a young age. You've done a great job with him. And yes, the pics are very good, and should be in a comp.

Wow that first pic has such a relaxed feel to it-there is not an ounce of tension in either child or bird.Lovely to see.

How gorgeous is that picture! It's just lovely. You give that gorgeous hunk of spunk a kiss from Aunty Lin, and, any time your sick of that darling angel, you just post him over to me

Surely you can't be meaning that your totally innocent cherub of a son could be doing something slightly naughty or annoying, Sal!!??
