Well, I posted a few pics on the kak website too and two ppl there think Lillie is a boy, so with that and the votes on here for a cock bird then I think we are going to have to rename him!!!! Any suggestions welcome! I don't care, I am just glad that he is happy and healthy!! He is much quieter than Puku... is that usually the way with boys??

Hey Orange If Lillie does turn out to be a wittle boy then you could just tweak the name and call her/him Lenny .. She/he would still answer then 'cos they sound very similar. I had to change my budgies name from Cyril to Cybil!!

I can't imagine WHY you would want to keep her!!!
To be honest that was my big worry if I ended up fostering her that day-I just knew there would be no way I could give her back!

It's funny actually, looking at them today it is a bit obvious that he is a boy... he seems to have got so big all of a sudden!! Well done Jon for spotting it first!!

Oh! Oh! I think I've got it - what about OLLIE!!! Still very cute (s/he? would still be able to get away with being cuddly with a name like that!!), & it still sounds a lot like Lillie so s/he? would still answer ... OK - I must stop it now!!

Hey Dawn My little she-male is all yours now, so over to you with the name! I still like Ollie, cuddly enough to be cute and can turn into Oliver when s/he's naughty. Would also work if s/he did turn out to be a girl as you could just tell everyone that it's short for Olivia!! Seriously though - your choice - you know him/her better than anyone now so I'm sure you'll find a name that fits his/her personality PS, Where's my daily piccie !!!

Ollie it is then Ellen, it suits him perfectly! It's funny, the influence he had on Puku at the start seems to be going the other way now, she seems to be influencing him and today he is not nearly as snuggly as he has been!! BOO HOO.. he is growing into a proper independant kakariki I guess! Two seconds, I will just take one and put it on
