Just wondering. are green apples ok for lorikeets, I have heard by some that they are and some that they arent cause of the acidity in them. they love the red apples, I have given them green apples before. If anyone can tell me would be good, as green apples are on special for 2 dollars a kilo at the moment.

All apples are okay. I prefer to give mine the grannies (and mysef too!) as they taste better than the reds. Only probs down here at the moment is they are $5 a kilo and the reds I got on the weekend are only 99c kilo. My Bo loved her grannies - she'd hardly touch the reds.

All apples are good for Lorries I dice the apples up for them into small squares. I give the lorries apples each day as well as green Grapes cut into four. Open rose buds are also good for lorries for the pollen. I hope this helps
