hi everyone i recently took Jake to the vet as one day while he was out he wouldnt fold his wing back to its normal position againist the side of his body. i noticed it at around 10am by the time we went to his appointment (which was 3.50pm), he was fine, and the vet said he was ok however if it came back he might have to do an x-ray to check for broken bones he can still fly well and i havent seen him struggle. however the problem is still occurring, but not as bad as it was. would he still be able to fly if it was broken somewhere?

No, I very much doubt he could fly with a broken bone in the wing. I'd hazard a guess that he just overexerted himself or maybe knocked it on a corner/shelf/doorframe etc.

phew !! thanks for your help Karen he does manage to put his wing back to the normal position eventually after he has landed but when he flies again and lands its back again, the wing just sticks out away from his body, but the wing is folded nicely itself. maybe he pulled a muscle?
