What is the best seed mix I can get for Paulie. He is just been weaned so I dont want anything too strong for him.

With a beak the size of Alexandrine's you can feed him the same as you feed your MM & Galah.

Judy I feed my alexandrines a good small parrot mix. Also Bird Munchies have a good Parrot mix you can buy from the supermarket. It has seed,nuts,fruit and pellets in it. My babies love it because of all the different colours.

Thanks karen and pauline. I am trying him on small parrot mix at the moment and has gone thru a whole tray so far and eating plenty of veg.
What treats are we aloud to give them, eg nuts. bread.

yeah they are, you can get honey nut ones too, yummy!!!! my tiels will do almost anything for a honey nut cheerio! Jake loves too hold them with his foot and munch away! As the cheerios are a hoop shape i hook them in funny places in their cage to keep them entertained.

Karen Cheerios are a breakfast cereal made by Nestles. They are a 4 grain cereal Corn, Oats, Rice and wheat. You can buy it at any supermarket. Alexandra we can't buy the Honey nut cheerios here in Brisbane but they sound nice.
