Hi! well I have to admit everyone I went on a bird shopping spree I got to cups one for their water, one for the food, toy with all kinds of blocks, swing for them to swing on, and a bag of millet for them. So I went bird wild crazy! but HEY! their worth it! What kind of things did all of you gt when you adopted your new feathered friend? :-)

Good grief where do I start? I adopted Ringo (RIP) a lutino Indian Ringneck, I bought her a dog chew toy, a rope toy, 3 play mice, a squeaky ball, a large ball with a bell in it, a rolling toy & cage dangles! She 'ate' the mice within 5 minutes and didn't touch any of the other toys! Sounds like your birds have it good!

My worst shopping trip wouldve been, going to buy some seed for my guys, and coming out with 90 dollars worth of toys lol. I think I might of had a bird in there somewhere, cant remember.

That's actually a terrible thing to say! Me or the birds! I completely agree with Karen!! If anyone is going to try to make you give up something that you truely love, then I think you're better off without them - compromise is great, but total sacrifice ...nah! Anyway he should have realised - birdies or blokes = NO CONTEST BRIDGETBLUE - you are now truely one of us

Exactly right batty!!!!
lol when I joined up I just had little ol harry (harriette now), thankfully hubby had an understanding of my love and addiction for birds and animals. He is now prepared to by me a redtail black, so lol he must love me to be spending that much money.
Peanut....At least you have the birds to help you along, you never know, hubby may come back when he realises how silly he is.
