hellooooooooooooooo after selling 2 bird cages i bought another hen for Buster, she is a cinnamon like Buster but a bit lighter. cant decide on a good name yet so nay ideas will be great

yeah he is called Sam, he's blue and gorgeous! only she hates him!! she kept on trying to bite him and has even bent his tail feathers even through two sets of cage bars! i put them next to each other so she would get used to him but every time he goes near her cage she folows him around trying to bite him, he beak is open ready to get him ! Honey is 2 and sam is only 6 months old, i'm sure its cos of the age difference, she was fine with Minty and he was 1. i tried him in the same cage together but she chased him around trying to bite him and he was so scared of her i had to take him out.........poor little man

He is lovely! Give Honey time, it may take a couple months for her to grow to love him. Keeping them separate for that time is a good idea.
He looks older than 6 months. Males get their rings anywhere from 18 months to 3 years old.
