We've been caring for some tawny frogmouths for quite some time. The three we have now can't be released so they're sharing the aviary with our resident kookaburras. They look like owls but are actually part of the nightjar family. This is a pic of one we released. .

It must be a great feeling jules to be able to heal them and let them back into the wild, excellent stuff, I know if it were me Id never let them go lol.

It is the biggest buzz watching them fly off. Nearly all land on a close branch and sit and watch us for a while. It is hard to let some of them go as they certainly steal you heart.
