I was at a yard sale apparently a lady died and her son was selling everything at this yard sale Including her Citron crested Cockatoo. I had vision of some one buying this bird on a whim finding out that they scream and need tons of attention and reselling it until the bird finally winds up either abused or in a bird rescue. the bird was in a huge cage 40x36x54 and the Price on the cage was 800. I offered him six hundred for the cage and bird and he took it of course. This bird was obviously very loved he just a sweetheart and so far no behavior problems. He is 20+ years old and apparently this lady had him since he was weaned he's beautiful and in full feather. oh well had five already whats one more Pat (new here)

Congrats! I hear the Citron's are not very common. Well done for giving him a new home.
