Hi All After my long absence (caused by dead computer) and now I have the equipment to post them I thought you might like to see how the Blue Team are fairing I bought them this swing at Christmas! They were terrified of it and looked at it as if it was a cat! I had to put it in the bottom of the cage, and over the weeks move it gradually up the wall of the cage till finally they let me hang it from their roof. In four days they had eaten through the middle perch! Blue in action munching the swing's central perch Blue as she had just started the demolition of the swing! Harry is huge and moulting but otherwise ok, Blue chews anything that she can get her beak on. Minty is beautiful as ever and one day I will get a picture of him holding his wings out to show you why his nickname is 'Angel Wings' if he sees the camera he puts them away. Tiny is a star as ever Sky is ok ish, she has to have her beak trimmed every four weeks as it over grows and her claws at the same time. Do check my post in health and home as there is a picture of Sky taken today and I'm very worried about her Hugs and budgies kisses to you all.

Lovely pictures! Ah... yes, adorable little destroyers. My lot have a string of beads and plastic little links that they love. I've replaced the string twice already and I don't know how many swings they've gone through!

You know they enjoy a toy when they destroy it.

Hi All I don't mind them eating the perch, rather that and be entertained than be board. Better than feather plucking! I was worried blue had started that and she is the main destroyer of the swing so that solved that. I'll put a new piece of dowel through the centre section and they can do it all again. Funny how the wooden block on the perch intended for them to chew seemed much less fun I think becuase that part moved it was harder to chew at but the perch staye still. hehe Gotta love em, they have eaten two swings now! Send healing thoughts for Sky she may not be as well as she looks, this picture was taken some weeks ago. (see health and home thread) Billie xx
