A mate of mine knew I was after elegants (before Nat kindly sold me hers) and he had a nice surprise for me when I took rosella's to him. I haven't got a name for them yet, the male is split to pied. ps: they are called Elegant Parrots.

I live on a 2000 metre block and have a number of cages and some aviaries. Although I did a major cutback on the weekend and am down to only 43 birds now - I'd have alot more if my father wasn't here - a major grumblebum!

they are absolutely gorgeous Karen.. I was beginning to think Mike my hubby was going to toss me out on my backside LOL then he up & says he thinks I should get some grays lol I was like **Come here mister & let me take your temperature** I wasnt sure if he was serious or delerious!! I will be adding another pair of bourkes to my collection soon! but would LOVE to add a pair of these beauties as well!
