Foofer:(Looking cute) (Being cuddly) (Showing off her skill at headbanging...) Oscar & Felix:(Hanging out together) (Oscar feeling photogenic...) With that last pic - the only reliable way to tell Oscar and Felix apart is that Felix is missing a toe. (No idea how it happened as they and Foof were all rescues. But it doesn't slow him down a bit!) I never thought I'd be a bird person but when I lost my 15 year old dog/best fuzzy friend I wanted to adopt new pets soon after and a friend told me about a bird rescue. The rest is history... my feathery friends have such huge hearts and personalities for such little critters and I love them.

I love zebra finches, they have the cutest little chirpies! Foof is quite charming as well. Good for you for adopting, it looks like they've found a good home with you. Edit- Oops, didn't realize that Scully had just said that...

Thanks again for the warm welcomes. I love Finch sounds too! My little Zebras never fail to make me smile. They've got the cutest little voices. After I've covered them at night I can hear them chatting back and forth from their respective nests and it's a softer kind of sound than they make during the day... ridiculously cute! Oh - and I love the term 'fids' for feathery kids. Don't know who came up with that but it's perfect.
