I have just deleted 2 accounts from spammers. They pretend to be interested in birds - the latest ones will post a snippet of information about a particular bird. At the end of the post will be a link to their website called: social media marketing
Anyone seeing a post like this report it immediately to me and I will deal with it.
They have been hitting bird forums lately, no one knows their game yet but they have been dealt with swiftly.
I hate people like that! We have a local classifieds website here and someone keeps advertising hyacinth macaws foe £300. Blatently a con!! And the photos are of birds in zoo's. There's always someone who has to spoil everything isn't there!!
George, they have FREEEEEEEE! African Gray Pair & baby Hyacinths for FREE! here...I do know Hoobly tries to weed out the TURDS! but the local web classifieds here in Kentucky dont even bother & it makes me so mad..I refuse to use them to advertise even a used COMODE (thats if I had one which I dont ) but just metaphorically speaking of course! because of the lack of advertising traffic control.. so many newbies & unsavy folks have been conned by the likes of them! they should all be swiftly taugt a lesson!
SPAMMING! has become a major problem & it will get worse, if guests are allowed to post, its not near as bad when they have to become a member of the forum board before they have access to the boards.especially when their IP addys will be banned when they post their smut! seems they come out of the wood work..like termites! I would like to EXTERMINATE! EM ALL!
Spammers, I've had enough of them, i was on another forum and it wasn't advertising spam more like racism spam, i really felt sorry for the admin of the forum, because he is the ONLY moderator and admin everyone else on the forum were just members. Must be hard for him...
