:oOY! you got a Grey hound?? lovely lovely breed! I knew a woman that used to rescue retired racers! such loving sweet dogs, but yeah her problems she had was the neighbors cats! lol I know its awful but in the beginning she hated cats & then felt she was being punished because her dogs kept eating them...the neighbor finally listened to her & started keeping their cats inside the house!!

Yes we have a greyhound, he only 19 months old and was supposed to race but never made the grade so went to the rescue home. Just couldnt resist Bobby when i saw him so bought him home! Rescued retired racers before so was expecting a vrey docile couch potato - Bobby couldnt be further from it! a real joy to home! LOL yes cats are a problem, mine he doesnt mind cos she put him in his place very quickly, cats that run away from him are in trouble - if they face him off they scare him and he ends up on my lap lol. I do want to get him a friend because being a young dog he still has a lot of play in him but another greyhound would be no good as it wont play like Bobby does (he's a labradore stuck in a greyhound body lol) so looking into getting him an akita friend (Jon's favorite breed). We have an appointment at the rescue centre in 2 saturday's time for Bobby to meet the dogs and see if there are any that hit it off with him - cant wait!! So may well end up in the confessional at some point in the next few months lol.
