Have you checked ebay for bird toy parts & supplies?? they usually have fantastic deals! you can also look under sugar glider stuff as well, as alot of people have toy making supplies for both..since they pretty much play with the same stuff

I've got a friend that lives in the UK. I'll write to her and ask her if she knows where to get some that will ship to you at a reasonable price. She does rescue work so she might just know.

Craft shops are good..look for products called Creation station, wood beads , lollypop sticks, etc, and other wood bits for kids, all safe, and not expensive.
Willow balls, stuffed with banana chips and monkey nuts are one of my Kaks favorites. Has Bryn got a forage tray? My Kaks love a cardboard box with a few holes, stuffed with timothy hay, and put some small seed type, and dried fruit in. They spend ages looking through the hay, and nibbling it. Cardboard tubes and boxes are a hit with my Kaks.
Untreated pine wood from B&Q, sometimes when i pick Hazel, i snap it into 6in lengths, and tie in bundles, then i string the bundles together. I may hide treats in the bundles too.

I'll have to give up and ask -- What are Monkey Nuts?
Hush up Laurie. I can hear you laughing all the way to Texas!
