Got a quickie for you guys - Alfie has his new girlfriend in with him now, he's showing no interest at all in her though, there's been not so much as one hiss at each other and he moves away everytime she gets near. He's not frightened and neither is she. He just seems to ignore her Do you think he is just too much for people as opposed to birds? Any tips on how I could try and get him to interact with her - or should I just leave them to it? Thanks

I reckon give them time. Once he realises she's a girl, his hormones will kick in.

I wish I had an answer for this. I'm hoping that this doesn't happen when I bring my little girl home. She will be sharing a cage with a male. I so hope they get along.

I bought Daisy for my little boy Pepper and he had no interest in her what so ever... Daisy is now in a pair with Sunny after Sunny's mate Sandy died a couple of months ago but Pepper is still not interested in her.
I think if it was just the two of them in the cage together he would've come around but because there are so many other distractions in the cage he just wasn't interested.
