AWWWWWWWW!!!! Now, I'm no tiel expert AT ALL but I do happen to know that only the females have bars on their tails. She's a she alright! As for names, I'm not very good at them but I'll list some of my own pets names (past and present!) for inspiration! LOL!
Ivy, Jess, Daphne, Margey, Heather, Roo, Poppy, Dill, Daisy, Tess, Treacle, Chippy, Nugget, Pearl, Duckie.... ermmm, I think that's it for me, brains stopped working! ;D

LOL -- hubby says he wants to wait until her personality starts coming out more. She's still extremely nervous. I don't think she was socialized very much even though she was hand fed. Bless her little heart, she is still shivering whenever we come near her.

aww poor baby, she may not have been, some people when they hand feed, they just reach in grab a bird & feed them then put them back, for them to really be well adjusted they need to be played with & loved up on..my 2 older GC chicks watch TV with me LOL! they love to comb my hair..

AWWWWWWWW!!!! Now, I'm no tiel expert AT ALL but I do happen to know that only the females have bars on their tails. actually when tiel's 'r young both male as female have bars on their tail but males Will sing at an early age, females do not, also if she is a she the tiel won't change colors and keep the bars if she's a he the bars Will disappear the young of a cockatiel always look female until they get to the age that they shed, but you might keep an eye on the attitude of the tiel, if she sings it's an he ;D

So far, the only sound I've heard her make is a hiss. lol. She was hatched in April so she's almost 6 months old.
