since she has her eyes removed , her face gets alot morel hairy, i wonder why?. i do strip it off when i trim her, but leave the bits by her eyes longer, like lashes, as i can see her expressions better. Even when people get close and pat her, most the time they dont notice Scully has no eyes. She has that 'old loved Teddy' face, like the button eyes have fallen off. aww dont we love em

That's a gorgeous picture ... Scully looks so content. How long is it since she had her eyes removed?

Scullys been blind for about two years, due to glaucoma. Shes been fantastic up until just before christmas last year. I took her to the vets yesterday, and next week she has to go an have a exam under anesectic. We are not sure whats wrong, but its so itermittent, it makes it hard to understand her. Scully did have an infection in her ears, but her ears look fine, maybe we will find something deeper in the inner ear. Its making her like shes in her own little world at times, and not hearing certain things, and at certain times. Its been hard taking her for a walk, as she tries so hard to find me. I have always made her do things on her own, or with encouragement from me, and shes been almost normal, except she is not as fast as she would like to be. We may end up at the specialist, but we will see what they can find next week. She is still pretty happy, but not herself. As she is 10, she could be going deaf early, but i have a gut feeling its not that.

I hope it is just deafness due to her age and that your gut feeling is wrong. Keep us posted she is such a beautiful content looking dog. Hugs & kisses to sleepy scully love
