Ohhhh...I love the tarantula...so pretty and fuzzy! I used to have a Rose Hair tarantula when I worked at the middle school library. I kept her in the library and the kids loved coming to look and want to hold her. Some teachers came to look but not as many as the kids for some reason...haha! I had tarantula books displayed next to her for kids to look over and check out. I always thought it would be fun to announce over the intercom that Rosie has escaped and keep an eye out for her...haha! I can think of one word that would describe the result.... STAMPEDE!!

Scully we have just opened up a music/pet supplies combo shop. Shane is a muso and works weekends but he had a bad flu earlier this year and damaged his vocal cords and needs to take some time off singing so decided to open a music shop so he can take a few months off to hopefull let his throat heal. He has 3 gigs this weekend and another 3 gig weekend comming up which is good for the money but his health is suffering. With the pet supplies, we have an online shop that we started about a year ago but business online was slow, so when Shane decided to open the music shop, we would split the shop in half and sell the pet products as well. So far it is getting alot of attention, especially with the spiders and scorps. We don't sell any other pets or stock "normal" pet supplies like the dog/cat stuff. We stock reptile and bird products. Shane is into and keeps reptiles and I am on the bird sode of it. So heres hoping all goes well with it so Shane can take a much deserved time off from singing next year. You can hear a few demos of Shane if you like. lol that would be funny SkyFeather, seeing all the terrified looks on peoples faces when they think that Rosie escaped lol Isn't it funny how kids find unusual animals facinating where as adults don't?

Wow Tasha! I love the pics! Bit different from feathered friends, but still neat. Wish I lived closer, your shop sounds just right for me!
