I would have to say, they are honestly, the most beautiful photos I've ever seen of two dogs. Simply wonderful. Thanks for sharing, Scully.

From day one Booms , she has made us so proud of her, the only thing she cannot do anymore is run as fast as she could before. She still chases and fetches her ball, and will attempt to chase the birds and squirrels in the woods, when she hears them rustle on the leaves. Just recently we have had problems with her hearing. She was not quite connecting where our voices or the whistle was comming from, and off in the wrong direction. When she goes, as she has heaps of confidence, she is off, and it was getting scarey. You should see me shouting and whistleing like a mad woman, most people watching, i expect think she must be such a disobedient dog, lol but she is trying so hard bless her. Anyway there was not sign of ear problems at all, she could still hear the rustle of the biscuit packs etc from upstairs, not even smelly.I got so fed up, i took her to the vets, just to put my mind at rest about her ears, and lo and behold she has an infection in both ears, not too bad, but we are hoping its the problem. Trouble is the ear drops make it worse at the moment, but cannot be helped. Scully has never had an ear problem, and Tess has only had one, so we've been very lucky with those long floppy ears. The only time she has ever been worried or lost confidence, was late last year. I was walking through the woods, and it tipped down. The sound was tremendous on the trees, and she stopped. I always make her do things by herself if i can, but she would not budge. Once on the lead she was off again. I just want her to be able to be free and off lead, as long as i can, and keep that 'Scully spirit' going Anyway she gets a check up next week, so i hope the ear problem has cleared up. I would hate it if she had hearing problems this early, she is 8yrs old. Tess wears a bell, and shes never far from me, so Scully knows where we are, and will follow Tess, when she feels she has to.Just recently with this problem we noticed Tess was running back to Scully, and bouncing around her.Once she heard her bell, she followed her back. Now we are saying to Tess' Fetch Scully' when she does, and we are hoping she will pick it up in the end. It could be very useful if she does.

Scully, both your dogs are lucky to have you as an owner. Your unconditional love, and desire to do what is right by the dogs is unbelievable, and makes my heart soar to know they are in such a loving home. give Scully a big kiss from me, for being such an exceptional dog, and trusting you enough so that she has a great quality of life. And give Tess a kiss from me because I find black and white dogs irresistable
