Several members had FID (feathered kid!) sides to their Christmas gifts...
-Karen got a very good book called Parrots of the World, and her budgie Boris (the Queen) got a new palace, very fancy. They both are very happy with their presents.
-Chirperfan's mother got a season of a favorite TV show... ok, so it doesn't really have anything to do with birds, but it is a chick-flick!
-And I was very happy to finally be able to put a deposit down and reserve an egg for a FID I'm looking forward to bringing home in a few months!
Tasha’s rainbow lorikeets have been busy this month, so now she has two new baby lories to add to her collection! Karen’s elegant parrot babies are nearly all grown up now, and very much deserve their species name. Her young bourkes are fledging and apparently doing well.
Canuck added a few more funnies to the Muppet Board over Christmas, so if you haven’t been over there in a while, take a look.
Due to general craziness the Christmas Competition is on hold, but it should be proceeding to the next step soon! Keep an eye out.
Last but not least I’d like to give a special thank you to all the past and present members and staff of Bird Crazy for a great year! Everyone’s input and company is special, so thank you and have a wonderful New Year!
See you around, Liz
