My darling Springer is finally sitting! I eventually managed to get her off long enough to snap a picture of her nest. Some of the eggs are hidden

i found a awsome quail sight yesterday... well it is awsome cause you can see REALLY tiny quail babies... they are like the size of a marbel !!! im going to buy some.... just 2 ! and put them in the aviary.. if the budgies and quails dont get along i have a spare cage which we used for baby ducks... with a little modifiying it would be prefect for a HEAP of quails... although i only want 2.
let me find the sight. so you can see how small the babies are

I've just about finished baby proofing the aviary! What a great site Carmz, thanks, I'm going to go and read it all now.
I can't wait for babies (hope the eggs are fertile!)

tee hee. And Julie, I've been reading up on them, and you can tame them. They sound absolutely adorable. Wouldn't a nice quail be a good friend to Budgy2? #norty#

Oh Lin-I've read up on quail so many times,I would adore some and have for a long long time! They wouldn't be able to stand winter outside here though.
