yes poor laura met her on a few sites including facebook.she purchased two lovebirds.which im sure she will tell everyone about later on. she joined another site(parrot/bird) and all they were nagging her.telling her the advice i gave her was incorrect and that i need to sort stuff out before all my birds die.and if i carry giving incorrect advice i would be responsible for killing lauras birds to.my advice was not incorrect and i have had birds/animals all my life and started breeding 21years ago.i to joined the other site(which is total ****?).as i was fed up of all the lies.tried to close my account but they would not let me.so just logged out and stayed off of the site.if you want to see the site.which looks great when you first log in great pics ect.but the member ect well ,even admin/mods where ?.whenever my birds have died its always been old age or because something the old owners did that couldn't be rectified.and yes i always get them checked by my local avian/exotic vet if nothing is clearing up the site is www.birdboard.com

oh i love your bird Archie he's so pretty how old is he? well all thanks for the warm welcomes as sarah was telling you i have 2 beautiful love birds a male and female, the female is Peach and she is a peach face (lol) green body with orange head, and the male (SunShine) is a fincher he is bright yellow with a orange face, there both 3 yrs old. he has a vet appt sept 18th at 1:30pm i'm going to get him DNA'd just to make sure he's a male lol, nails clipped (prevest owners i dont think they got his nails done ) vet checked, and wings clipped, i would really like to breed them, all the advice would be great, also he curls his feet is that a sign that he's nails are too long? and also the two lovies dont know each other i've tryed letting them out together and all he wants to do is hide how do i get him to like her?? any tips? also when is the love bird breeding season?

archie is a jandaya conure, yes he talk he has quite a husky little voice unlike my other conures who have a squeaky almost cartoon voice.archie mimics more sounds than words.but he knows quite alot of words to.he's abit naughty and aggresive at the mo.little bugger.lol love him though they all get abit like this sometimes

G'day Laura and welcome! In regards to that other forum, unfortunately there are quite a number of forums around that treat their members like that. Instead of offering a firm but kind bit of advice they think it's their right to attack and belittle. If someone doesn't know something, then educate them. Not everyone knows as much as someone else, that's what these boards are to do - offer advice and help, and in times of loss - compassion. When my mum's lovebirds refuse to go back into their cage, we have a 6 inch fish net that we gently scoop them into (once we've worn them out) and then pop back into their cage.
