I am terrible at taking pictures so we don't have a lot of them. My husband keeps promising to take more. Amon Heckel and a baby Cronus and Rhea continued

I love that picture of Apollo (male ekkie), he was eating when I showed up with the camera and he stopped eating and posed. He loves sprouts. The only thing he is messier with his sweet potatoes.

Great looking birds! I'm hoping my Westerns will breed for me this year. Have yours bred for you?

I just got mine in December. That is how I found this board, I did a search on Western Rosellas. They are a new experience for me.

Don't you hate it when they say no, I prefer 'maybe' let me think about it and I will let you know. At least then there is a small glimmer of hope

Thank you. Zen (Gray) and Tonto (Silver) had already left the 'chow line' when hubby took the picture.
Hubbys are only a pain when they say no or let me think about it.

Here is a picture of possible additions to the flock. These eggs belong to Apollo and Sirona. There is a golf ball sized wiffle ball for comparison.

Amon is gorgeous! You have lovely birds, and the chowline is very cute! If only my birds would be that orderly...

Before they went into the playpen and started sitting on the wire they were in the toddler box. They would come out on a ladder and then when they got full they would walk back in. We called it the march of the cockatiels. I really need a video camera because you had to see it to believe it. I am always amazed at how smart cockatiels are. I feel their intelligence is under-rated by most people.

Well, they are a part of the Cockatoo family and they are an intelligent bird. LOL all birds I reckon are pretty smart - they have us as slaves right? Those eckie eggs are huge! No wonder the girls are reported to be a bit nippy around breeding time - fancy pushing an egg that size out!
