Here's a few pictures that I took last October when we were visiting Woburn Animal Park .... I could have watched the tigers all day .... I think they are so beautiful. Lazy lions Asian elephant .... Having a drink from a muddy puddle. These little creatures roam free .... they're very terretorial so don't go too far away. This little fella was just one week old .....

The elephant is magnificent isn't he ...... he's called Raj. It would have been nice if he and his friend had more space tho .... they looked a bit sad the day we were there.

Great pictures of the animals. I like woburn also have only been there once but thought it was great. Tiger thought my car was prey and started stalking it then a keep came flying down in his land rover beeping his horn and the tiger was trying to bite his tyres.
My go there again though as its great being able to drive in with the animals.
Also like whipsnade which is not far woburn as you can also drive in with a few animals but they are deers and camels.

Woburn animal Park is an action packed day for all the family. From the Road Safari where you can go round as many times as you like to the Foot Safari where you can mingle with the animals, grab lunch before watching the keeper demonstrations. Woburn animal Park has been criticised for locking its animals up in cramped, inadequate and unsafe pens - leading one expert to say that it is 'probably the most shocking evidence I have seen in a UK zoo'.
