would it be wrong to put Peka and Harley in the same cage or should I keep them separate. When I brought the 2 lovebirds home i bought a bigger cage for them, but since Ariel passed I wanted to put Peka in with Harley or Harley in with Peka (Harley's cage is much bigger) but i am scarred b/c lovies can be dominating and his beak is very sharp. What do you suggest. I do have a smaller cage for Harley if I need to keep them separate. Thanks Karen

It is definately not advised. My Boris (in signature) is 2.5 years old and extremely tame, Sam the Peachface I handraised him and he's 6 months old now. I would never house them together, I have their cages side by side and they love each other. When I let them out for playtime they argue and fight. Lovebirds are notorious for biting the feet of other birds and with their big beaks they can do alot of damage. I'd suggest putting their cages side by side and then letting them out for supervised flight time.
