Hi allie, welcome aboard ;D
My you do have a full house! I think the sisters would be classed as "pests" rather than pets, although they may have something to say about that lol.
Hobbit sounds great! I love birds with attitude lol! Looking forward to hearing more about your feathered and furry friends and hope to see pictures too - we love pictures!! ;D
Enjoy your stay with us ;D

have my four kids for a week, that'll be sure to give you enough grey hairs to look like a grandma - without the aid of hair dye i look older than my mother lol i agree with you, thats where they have chosen (seeing as they didnt want to wait till next season lol) so moving them could upset them. Aaawww bless him! Bertie is such a good little boy, maybe he could give a some human husbands a few pointers.... lol

Hiya, welcome back ;D
i hate to tell you this, but female kaks dont do the kak laugh once they hit maturity. They are naturally extremely quiet in comparison to the males.
I know she is a single bird, but is she on her own much or does she have people company for most of the day? Kaks are very social, and if kept on their own need lots of company and fussing from us ;D
Some new things to do in her cage could help bring her out of herself a bit too, for example couple of strips of newspaper fed through the bars will keep her amused for hours! Also, a kittens rattling ball in the bottom of her cage will have her practicing her david beckam's strike. Simple but different things that keep her thinking and active will make her a little more happily vocal ;D
I remember the only time my female kak used to make the kak laugh was at bath time - you are sure to get a lot of excitement when a bowl of water comes out lol.
Hope this helped a little? Good luck and let us know how she gets on ;D
