well, Scully did not do so well tonight I bought them in, and they now have a fresh nest box, but i broke the eggs (dropped them) They are so lovey dovvey, its so sweet to see my big boy Harvey like that. Hes only had eyes for William untill now. Well fingers crossed, i would like 3/4 more, Thats enough, but who knows she could be put off now. They also have had some oatmeal and egg food, with extra vits. I guess i best get some formula in and a syringe. Sal ..Remember when i hunted high and low for that spoon and thanks Liz, 18 days is pretty quick!

Obviously in the Uk ;D
Its too cold for my likeing at the moment, but i have Harvey and Darcy feeding, and petting each other, and they have done for a few weeks now.
So a few questions for you Budgie breeders...
what time could i expect Darcy to lay, is it still a bit early? Anytime now?I have a wooden box in the avairy, which they are thinking is a nest box, and will be fine to be one. They are showing all the interesed signs.
I ask ,as if i can i would like to bring them in doors before they start laying, as i could give them the extra food, and things they need easier.
How long does it take the chicks to hatch?
How many eggs could i expect with a first time hen?

Well its been a week today, and Tids tries so hard to be near Green, but he does not seem to want it. They do sit together, but thats about it its not quite love at first sight, but maybe in time. Perhaps when spring time comes aorund and Greens hormones kick in, he might be a bit different. Its quite funny watching Tids follow Graham everywhere on the floor, bless her. Shes quite a gentle little girlie bird, and i can pick her up.

I'm comming back as a Bunny!, and going to live with Batty ;D
Her Buns have the most wonderful life, HUGE outdoor play aera, with an outdoor house. Even HUGE 'ER indoor cosy place to sleep, eat and stretch out in the colder days. Heating, play tunnels, loads of nice nibbles, treats, sweet soft hay......
and lots of cuddles, and no doubt a lot of pampering too
What more could a Bunny want!!!
My mind is made up!

They decided to wait a while, as Millet rations are kind of sparce, so they went straight into thier warden assisted Flat. Tids has met the neighbours today, but shes not struck on the big dark green one. Although Sammy (new budge got his name at last!) knocked on the door, and went in for a chit chat.
