Hi All Tiny frightened the life out of me this morning, I came down to find him wet and miserable on the floor of the cage and throwing up yellow sick!!! I changed all feeders drinkers perches and floor and he improved. Came back up to a perch and later ate and drank. He hasn't been sick since and has been improving and is now fine as if nouthing happened. I gave him apple for the first time yesterday and wonder if he ate some spoilt apple from the floor of the cage that made him sick. He shreds everything you give him so I couldn't remove all the pieces. He still has slightly wet grey poo but other than that seems fine now. But boy did he scare me this morning. Any ideas as to what might have caused it. Is it coz he's in first moult or can the weather do it like with people it was very humid and stormy here last night. He must be ok now as he's chirping well, eating and XXX his food clip so he can't feel too poorley Poor wee bub Billie

I really don't know Billie, birds can and do get sick like us - a bug that's not serious. I'd suggest you stock your med kit with some Spark - electrolytes - and some general avian anitbiotics and keep a close eye on him.

It seems to just be something he ate maybe not agreeing with him, THANKFULLY he's been right as rain since.
I'm keeping him off apple from now on. His poo is back to normal and he is up to all his normal tricks chattering and climbing all over the cage so he seems ok.
