The computer isn't letting me upload photos. I tried, but it never seems to work. I've taken at least 30 photos I could show you, it's just the computer won't upload them. Sorry.

I'm a bit worried about Juniper. There's a greenish reddish rash type thing on his left foot. He keeps nibbling on it too. Is this normal or is something wrong? budgies are very noisy and a fan will not drown out the sound of a happy budgie! If you are after a quiet bird then finches are the way to go. However, whether you get 1 or 2 is dependent on how much time you intend to spend with him. If you are going to be spending a heap of time talking and interacting with him then 1 bird with extra toys is all you need. If you are not going to spend alot of time with him then you may want to think about getting 2. Only problem is you will probably lose the ability for a completely tame bird. I came upon this while reading the topic. Actually, the fun has drowned out most of the noise.

The greenish reddish rash seems to be going away, and Juniper stopped pecking at it, so i'm not as worried about it. Yay!! I finally got the pics to work!! Introducing......... JUNIPER!!!!

Thanks! I'm amazed. Juniper already let me pet his lower tail feathers. Do budgies normally let you pet them after 4 days?

Juniper let me get close enough to pet his stomach. After I touched it he wasn't too happy with me, but still, it's a bid advancement that he'll even let me go near his stomach.
The rash I told you about a couple posts ago is back. It's a greenish rash type thing on Juniper's leg. Is this normal? I'll try to get a picture of it so you can see.

no. He wouldn't even let you stick your hand in the cage.

Wow... Today was time to clean Juniper's cage. Juniper came really close to escaping. Thankfully he didn't.
Juniper started to panic when I moved his cage onto the floor. After that every time I tried to put my hand in he tried to escape. Juniper even flew up to my finger, bit it, and then flew right back down. I don't think he's too happy with me now. I hope next time goes better.

He'll settle down soon. Just let him be for the time being. He is one very pretty budgie. Can't help you with the rash though.
