You know how building up your collection of birds can take a long time? Well, today I got given 14 tiels! Saves a heap of time and trips doesn't it??? They are from an elderly man who felt he couldn't care for them properly anymore. 3 of these 4 have been plucked. Suggestions welcome Don't know if you can see all 4 in here And 6 in here. Aren't they beauties?

tee hee! You should show this to Mr O, then you might be able to sneak in a couple more!
Nope, no names, and they will be going out in the aviary, so it's not as bad as it seems #cheesy#

Very lucky!!! Beautiful tiels... I would just suggest keeping the plucked ones separately for a while, as it may be the other tiels that are doing it... also maybe give them all a few anti-mite drops... it can't hurt!

None are tame, so 10 went out in the aviary today. No other birds in aviary - so am still quarantining. I have kept 4 inside - the 3 plucked ones and one that looked like a few feathers were missing. I would say it is definately the others plucking - it's not them, and it is just around their necks. I do hope they grow back soon!
