Sorry, but we're really excited over here about our little Bailey, so here's some more pics. After this, I'll try to keep it to a minimum! I finally figured out what setting to use on my camera so that I have nicer quality pics. Geez took long enough, eh? Anyway, I thought these were amusing. I was actually waiting around to get some flight pictures, but Bailey wasn't cooperating, so here's what I got instead: "Do you know why she put me up here?""What's this thingy here?""Oh forget it, I've got an itch.""Back to business. Now, what's down here?""Whoooooaaaaaaa!""What? Who? Where?"Hope you enjoyed! BTW, in the last pic, that isn't a bald spot under her beak, it was just where she was preening herself & the feathers hadn't gone back in place yet!

Wow! Every last, err, or first picture is the prettiest! You've Picked the right choice of bird! by the way, she wouldn't fly because her wings are clipped (according to the fourth photo) because if you look closely, birds usually have flight feathers coming out of the end of the wing (what I mean is like, longer feathers on the wing; those are flight feathers) It takes up to 3 months (at the minimum, it took my bird 5 months; although it wasn't my cockatiel, it was my conure) for the the flight feathers to grow back. I hope this helps , By the way (x2) cockatiels are the easiest birds to train!

I know the wings are clipped, since the breeder did a hatchet job on them. But she still tries to fly anyway! Poor thing! Seems as though he chopped more than just the flight feathers. It aggrevated me, but she was so cute I didn't care. Hopefully, they'll grow back! Thanks for the kind words about her being pretty. She just loves to hear that!
