my lil sweetheart I liked the name Harrison, Meg liked Diesel, and Cooper and Lee and now Meg also like Taome, as you may remember we have a aviary budgie called Taome, who i named as she was in the nest last year, but she never came inside and couldnt wait to get into the main aviary flight etc, i called her that cos i wanted to bring her inside, Meg said yesterday that i had chosen that name for the meaning of it (The Apple Of My Eye) and so i should call my new indoor baby that too, so not sure yet lol

That's a great name Dawn for a gorgeous lil birdie!
Alex, usually the way to sex a conure is via DNA sexing either via feather or blood test. Surgical sexing by an avian vet is another option.

I thought you might like to see a couple of pics of our Greencheek , (still being fed ).` I noticed it lying on it's back one night and thought it was dead .I shook the cage and nothing happened ,it takes a bit to wake it up .lol Took 4 pics last night (with flash ) before it even stirred . now it's awake ! This is the first bird we have come across that sleeps on it's back, and , it always sleeps that way.
