Well I felt sick in the stomach this morning. I found a very full carpet snake in one of my nestboxes. Yes the damn thing had eaten a pair of my grey\green lorries. They were only a year old and very lovely in colours Fly free little fellas.

That's terrible, as the others have said what an awful way to go. Poor birds and poor you. I can't imagine what it must have been like, living in England we just don't get snakes near the house.
