HI just joined. Not sure where Bird Crazy orginates from since the time here is only 11.59PM Anyway I getting a new parrolet in the next few days. Not sure of his name yet Maybe Bailey, Bentlly or Sir Baxter. He is Blue and sooo cute. Need a little help on exactly what to feed him. Really want him to eat his veggies and fruit. And specific treats?? I live in Ohio, retired nurse and love to play golf. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Have a Great Day all Thanks Alfie

Hi Alfie and welcome to the forum, you'll love it here For your parrotlet I'd suggest a 50/50 mix of canary and cockatiel mix with added dried fruit. For fruit and veg it's a case of hit and miss..... if you try them with fruits and veggies that are 'seed heavy' such as cucumber, raspberries, strawberries, kiwi, pomegranite and such, then you can add in a bit of variety such as carrots, cabbage, apple, lettuce, brocolli and just see what they eat and what they leave, every bird is different Hope to see and hear about your new birdie soon, we love pictures so get your camera at the ready ;D
