When i was married, i had this given to me as a wedding pressy her name was Jacki, really, but she ended up being called Mrs Duck. her first pool (washing up bowl ) stubby wings Even when she grew older, she still used the bowl. The shower tray was the other place she used to swim, as we put the bowl in there when she was little Muddy puddles she used to spend the day with her best friend Thomas, a border collie. The pup in the photo, is Koi my first Collie

she is adorable! i had a duck that i rescued, i found out why its mum abandoned it though - it couldnt swim! lol. he befriended my rabbit (who was the king of all rabbits - nothing, not even a fox, would go near it) and they were best of pals for years when the house is finished (or at least when it doesnt look like a buiders yard) jon wants another dog - id rather have another duck

jon would love an akita (spelling?) but if we did go for another dog it would be another retired greyhound, my last one was such a perfect pet! she didnt like long walks - which with the amount of school runs i do (4) i never have time for anyway and she was very patient with the children but also very protective - she would always insist on walking between the road and whichever child had the lead. the only downfall with her was how much room she took up when lounging around on the floor lol you know me - would rather rescue something that someone doesnt want sucker for a sob story
