Hi all I am Darren 31 married with 2 kids... I live in south western pennsylvania, USA... But I am English so won't get lost on the Brits chattering We mainly have Budgies we have 4 at present, but last week we also adopted 2 finches that had neurological issues as the Pet store wouldnt sell them....Both females a zebra finch and a cordon bleu...They love each other dearly and dont leave each others side.... Other than birds we have fish (raphael cats striped and spotted), 3 cats and a siberian husky...This is after downsizing lol we did have until moving more fish tanks, a bearded dragon, firebelly toads and a emperor scorpion We are looking at adding to the bird collection soonprobably finches for now as birds are so expensive over here But one day hoping to pick up African grey,Black Palm Cockatoo and Quaker (quaker has to wait until we move states as theyre illegal in this one)

As you requested we actually got her for free out of the local classifieds with full papers , my last one I owned in the UK cost me £750 from down near Luton... There was an article on quakers in the November Birdtalk magazine over here, I think its because they are so apt at surviving and thriving in the wild if they escape I know numerous states have huge breeding colonies of them in the wild now.... They are illegal in several states but California and Pennsylvania euthanize if they find one

Welcome to Bird Crazy Darren where all it takes is a little craziness & lots of photo's to fit right in! Your husky is beautiful! Pity Quakers are illegal in your state. I have met 4 and they have all been absolute nutters! I would like to get a pair too.

Hi Darren, welcome to the nuthouse. I am so in love with your Sibe. I've always wanted one but ended up with a malamute who I had for quite a few years and still miss him dearly even though he's been gone for 6 years. All your critters are great.
