New to the site. I don't get the opportunity to get on much. in January my wife and I got a 6 year old Umbrella (female). Her name is Cookie. She seems to have taken to my wife a little better than me. We live in the Washington state, USA in the south eastern part of the state. Everyone thinks of rain when they think of Washington State, however we live in the middle of a desert. This will allow us to take Cookie outside 9 months of the year. She seems to have adjusted very well to us it only took about a week before she would come to us. Now she can't get enough. Well try to get on again later ...thanks

G'day! Welcome to Bird Crazy. Cookie sounds like a treasure. Alot of birds tend to favour 1 person over another. Usually they bond more with the person they see more often. Except in my birds case! She bonds more with me than anyone else (doesn't see alot of me).
