Hello All, I'm new to the forum, but not new to birds. My dad has always had them fo as long as I can remember. Anyways i'm 21 and still live at home with my dad. We currently have 2 cockiteals (Merlin & Milford), 2 Kakariki's (Bonnie and Clyde), One Alexandrine Parakeet (Milo), one Parrotlet (Kermit, my baby out of the bunch), 2 geese who live outside and have free range of the back yard (Squeeks and Captian Morgan), plus all the local wild pegions who have decided our house is the best hang out spot. Besides birds we have a Labx named Hunter whom we got out of the pound about 7 years ago. He was a trained bird dog, but gets along rather well with his avian bothers and sisters. If anything he tries to play with them. I also have two bearded dragons (Spike and Bandit). Everybody lives inside except for the geese, and hunter who goes in and out as he pleases. I'll try to post pictures later on today, I just have to find where I put my camera.

Welcome! Glad to have yet another CA person on here, I'm from Southern CA as well... Oh, I love labs! They are gorgeous dogs, and I can't wait to see some pics of your birds as soon as you find your camera. Of course, I'm not one to talk, seeing as how I can never seem to get pictures on here...

I'm in the Temecula area. Still no camera...but two more birds got added to the family today. One of my friends boyfriend does concrete work and the lady for the one of the projects hes working on had two birds she wanted to give to a good home. So now we have Sidney, a male solomon island electus and Alfie a male Gofin Cockatoo. Both were hand fed babies and very affectionete. I promise I'll get pic's of everyone up as soon as I can.
Quick question, how do I load an avatar??

go into your profile, there should be avatar width, and height. Usuallyit cant be more than 100 x 100 mpixels. Then paste a link into the area it says to and it should load easy enough. If still stuck give a hollar.

Ok everyone, I got pictures. Hope you enjoy. Sidney had just had a shower with me so he looks like a drowned rat. First off my baby, Kermit. Milo, he was my fathers day present for my dad last year. (2006). He was still being hand fed when we got him, so dad had to wean him. Merlin & Milford, Merlin is tame and Milford her beau isn't. But he doesn't freak out when we get near him anymore though. Their cage is always open and for the most part they stay perched at the top. (Merlins the white one and milford is the grey one) to be continued in next post...

Bonnie & Clyde. Clyde is the dark green one. Neither of them are tame, but again we can get near them and they don't freak out anymore. Sidney, after our shower. Alfie, really a lover. We were told that he was a he, but dad really thinks she a she because of her eye color. Squeeks & Captn Morgan. Squeeks is on the left. Their are both females and every spring were throwing eggs away like crazy. And Hunter has decided he likes them. Morgan will go in hunters dog housr to lay eggs sometimes. I'll look in and theres an egg sitting perfectly in the middle of his pillow. Continued...

Hunter. Don't worry, he cant fall over the side, he has a "seatbelt". And heres Bandit, We only got the beardies about a week ago and Chuck took Spike back because we were having some dominance issues.

Bandit's currently only 10 inces long. So hes still a baby. Here's Sidney, Alfie, Kermit and Milo all on top of Milo's cage. We had to take Kermit down right after the picture, hes a meanie and thinks hes bigger then he actualy is and was trying to bite Alfie. :-( Ad here's Sidney & Alfie. This was just to cute not to take or post. There ya go. That's our flock.
