I have the sweetest story to tell all of you about Miss Bridget. She is such a sweetheart and so sweet. I put my hand in the pen she got excited at first and fell in her bath water, I laughed in spite of myself she looked at me like I can't believe you laughed but I was hoping she and Twetty would get in the water and now she knows about it and knows its safe. She got on my finger after 2 tries and I kissed her, bless her heart she probably thought I was going to bite or eat her but after she seen I wasn't going to do either she trusted me and she kissed me 3 times on my arm... I cried because I was so happy and made me feel so wonderful. I put her on the swing and she wanted on her perch, I promised if she got on my fingers I would make sure she was safe and not fall and I got her on the perch safely. We had a wonderful evening together. Twetty is going to be more difficult to tame. But I hope I will have better luck after he sees Bridget trusts me. Have a nice night day and weekend! Bridget and Twetty Pie's mom.

Aw! You are so lucky! I wish I could have birds inside, but they aren't allowed, so my birds live outside in an aviary and they aren't tame. I get to play with the babies and get them tame before they go to new homes though, and that is my favorite time.

Hi Bridgetblue Congratulations with Miss Bridget aren't birds wonderful they make you feel a million dollars when they trust you enough to get close like that don't they. It has been over 20 years since I had a bird that was that tame and now my current birds are quite tame but my newest bird Tiny is that trusting he lets me kiss him too he is the first to hop on my hand for a game of ball Birds do tend to copy each other so when he/she sees how much attention Miss Bridget is getting and how she is safe in your hands I'm sure he/she will follow suit. Well done you Thank you for posting such a lovely story. Billie
