Well I know that I haven't given you the update that all of you so greatly desire so I decided that today was the day for a massive photo shoot and cleaning of the box. I can't believe that Nemo is 8 days old already!!! Here are some long awaited pics: Dog pile, you vcan see everyone in this photo. My two oldest, Squirt and Nemo. Here are some individual shots: NEMO (8 days old) SQUIRT (7 days old) DORY (2 days old) LUCKY (less than 1 day old) Here is a group photo that really shows the size difference: Squirt, Nemo, Dory, and in front is Lucky. Hope this is enough to satisfy your picture needs for now. I am sure there will be plenty more to come. ~Melissa

6th egg arrived yesterday for Caeser and Tiki.
Boomer is here in Raven's nest. We are stepping aside from the Finding Nemo theme, we are going with something from the 4th. He/she is really tiny and not as wiggly as the others. Bommer opens his mouth as if he/she wants to peep but no sound comes out. We are hoping that Boomer makes it.

Baby #2 is here, Squirt. Nemo is still going strong, and it seems that he is double or triple the size of he was yesterday.
As for Caeser and Tiki, she is sitting on 5 beautiful eggs and we are expecting 6th tomarrow.

Quick little update for you. Raven is now sitting on 6 beautiful eggs and is doing a wonderful job. First chick is guesstimated to arrive around July 1st.
Ceaser is now sitting on 2 eggs. She started sitting almost immediatly after she laid her first egg, so my guess on a due date is July 11th.

Well, it happened. Raven laid an egg on June 11. Unfortunately the first 2 she laid she also ate. However with that being said she is happily laying on 5 wonderful eggs. Expecting 6 today. She and Jake are doing wonderful. Here are my mom and pop: In a second cage we have paired up Caeser and Tiki. They have been in love for quite some time. No eggs yet but we are expecting a first egg anyday now. I will keep you posted. Here are a pic of them aswell. ~Melissa

I have been researching about cockatiels and I might be adding one o my flock in about a month or so, My birthday is April 15th so probably sometime around then. I was wondering if cockatiels and budgies would get along. I have 6 budgies. I know never to house them together. Can they be let out at the same time and play together or is it a bad idea? Anything else that you can tell me would be awsome, you can never know too much about birds.
Thanks~ Melissa

Well, I have finally earned enough money so I could buy a new cage for my budgies. Here is a link to the auction: cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7763344966&category=46289I have ordered it in the diamond blue and it should be shipped soon. I told my budgies that they were going to be Kings and Queens in their new castle. I am so excited that it is finally coming here. I will post pictures when we get it set up.

They have been doing fine with it and seem to have no problem getting around. The cage is one big cage with a removable divider, so it can be either one large cage or two cages.

Well, my much awaited cage is here!!! I love it and let me tell you it is huge!!!! My mom and me spent a good amount of time putting it together with on;y two diagrams of how to put it together. I would recommend this cage to any one with multiple budgies!! Here are some pics of the new cage: It still looks empty but we are working on new toys. Can you find the 8 little budgies?!? Here is a closer shot. Four.... One... One.... Two..... So there you have it. My little spoiled and happy birds in their new castle!! Hope you liked the pics!!!

I really don't know how to say this right now but my new members are one less as of this mornig. We were feeding the baby and there was an accident where he fell. He must have landed wrong because he died in front of us. I am am beside my self with guilt right now. After losing Houdini, and now Turk, as we named him last night because he looked like a turkey when he ate, I don't know what to do. I love my birds dearly but right now I feel that they may be happier and safer somewhere else. Please don't think of me as a bad person but I really don't know right now.

With all that has been happening I haven't had the time to post pics or even comment about our new boys. Two were brought home within 3 days of each other. The first one is a yellow face something, what do you think? Aren't I handsome??!? Such pretty, clear wings I just love this picture. The second one is a golden face (although he looks green in the pics, there is definate blue on him) dominant pied gray wing. (he also looks to me like ho could have some spangle feathers but I'm not too sure. What a cutie!!! What pretty wings!!! you can see some of the blue in this picture. As always name suggestions are appreciated. Hope that satisfied some picture needs!!

He is absolutely adorable!!!!
As for names he reminds me of a storm. He's gray like the cluds get and atleast here in Florida he has that yellow haze that comes before and after the storm.
