yes i know karen, and after all that i didnt need to re home any birds as i dont have to move now - long story! so instead of getting depressed over birds ive lost im enjoying having the extra room to spoil myself with a new budgie s/he is a sort of bluey gray scully, very pretty i saw the parents and it was hand reared for the last two weeks of babyhood. it was 8 weeks old on Friday and we called it buttons

depending on what light you look at her (i think her anyway) depends on what colour she is lol most of the time she looks a light mauve but then i look again and she looks a gray - maybe its a confused camelion budgie lol
