Lucy is 8 months old, but apparently she is semi tame.

thanks Sal. but now i have to be sure on her sex! i'm sure i read that whiteface hens have not so much white on their face, and the males have more? hmmmmmm

i've been looking on the web and i am pretty sure its actually a BOY! apparently hens retain a grey/silver face and only the males gets a white face.

Hi Alexandra i'm no expert either but LucyBob looks like a girl to me, how old is the bird? and is the bird vocal, calls out a lot or whistles back at you? I'm only going by stance in the photo and the crest size for now. If you really want to know, you be best to ask JoAnne, Anna or Frank, Frank is the genetics expert and he will know in a flash. you could post these photos in the Genetic section on "that forum" Cheer Debs
